Cornerman Protocol
// WHO IS TALKING, AND FROM WHERE

Legal notice

Who publishes this site, who hosts it, and who you write to when something is off. Not thrilling, but nothing hidden either.

02 Publication director

[À COMPLÉTER — prénom et nom du directeur de la publication]. Under French law, that is the named individual answerable for everything published here: articles, tools, sales pages.

03 Who hosts what

Two machines, two regimes. This is not an architecture footnote: it decides where your data lives.

  • The site you are reading (articles, tools, sales pages) is a static site deployed on Cloudflare Pages — Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States.
  • The API and the database (accounts, athlete file, sessions) run on a private server owned by the publisher, located in France. It opens no inbound port: traffic goes through a Cloudflare tunnel and surfaces at api.cornermanprotocol.com.
  • Backups of that database, encrypted before they leave the server, are stored on Cloudflare R2, in a bucket located in Western Europe.

△ What is stored, who sees it and for how long is spelled out in the privacy policy.

04 What belongs to us

The articles, texts, images, calculators and the models behind them belong to the publisher. You may quote a passage as long as you name the source and link to the original page: that is ordinary quotation, and it suits us fine.

What is not allowed: republishing a whole article elsewhere, shipping the tools under another name, or feeding a competing product with this content. For anything else, write — it is negotiable.

Trademarks and logos mentioned (intervals.icu, Strava, Garmin, Zwift and others) belong to their respective owners and are named only to describe interoperability.

05 What this content is, and what it is not

Everything published here — articles, calculators, plans, answers from the coach — is training information. It is not medical advice, not a diagnosis, not a prescription.

Endurance training and strength work carry risk. If you have a health condition, a pain that lingers, ongoing treatment, or if you are coming back after a long lay-off: talk to a doctor first, not afterwards. The numbers the tools return are models, and their limits are written down in the methodology.

You remain the judge of what you do with this information, and responsible for the effort you put out.

06 Outbound links

This site cites a lot of sources and links out to studies, federation sites and third-party tools. We have no control over what those pages become after our link. None of them is a disguised commercial partnership: there is no sponsor, no advertising and no affiliate link on this site.

07 A problem, an error, a report

A factual error in an article, a calculation that looks wrong, content that strikes you as unlawful: write to [email protected]. Corrections to the science get handled first — that is the whole point of sourcing what we publish.
