01 What this contract covers

These terms govern access to cornermanprotocol.com, to its calculators, and to Cornerman Protocol coaching subscriptions. They apply as soon as you create an account, and in full as soon as you subscribe to a paid plan.

The seller is the publisher of the site, identified in the legal notice. You are the customer, an individual acting for yourself: these terms are written for a private person, not for resale.

They are read alongside the privacy policy, which says what we do with your data.

02 The account

One account opens both doors: the calculators on the site and the coaching app. It takes an email address and a password.

The account is personal and non-transferable. Sharing it corrupts everything that follows: a training plan written from somebody else's file is not a plan, it is an injury risk.

You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself, and for the accuracy of what you declare — weight, thresholds, availability, injury history. The engine guesses nothing: it computes on what you give it.

Accounts are for adults. A minor may only subscribe with the consent and under the responsibility of a legal guardian.

03 The four plans, and their prices

These are exactly the plans shown on the sales page. The wording below is lifted from it verbatim — same source file, capitals included: the contract cannot drift away from the pitch.

04 No VAT on these prices

The publisher operates under the French small-business VAT exemption: VAT is not applicable, article 293 B of the French tax code.

In practice, the price shown is the price paid. There is no "excl. VAT" or "incl. VAT" to work out, nothing is added at checkout, and invoices show no VAT line.

05 The seven-day trial, no card

The Protocol and The Season come with a seven-day trial, with no bank card. No card means no card: nothing is asked for up front, so nothing can be charged at the end.

After seven days the trial simply stops. There is nothing to cancel, nothing to opt out of, no box to untick. Do nothing and nothing happens: your account drops back to the free tier.

The trial is available once per person. The site calculators stay usable on a free account, capped at two GPX files a month — typing your numbers in by hand stays free and uncapped.

06 Subscribing, paying, renewing

You subscribe online, from your account. Payment is handled by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Dublin, Ireland). No card data ever passes through or is stored on our servers: it goes straight to Stripe, which is PCI-DSS certified.

Subscriptions are billed in advance for the chosen period: monthly for The Protocol and The Corner, yearly for The Season. They renew automatically until you cancel.

For the yearly plan, you get an email between three months and one month before the renewal date, reminding you that you can choose not to renew (article L215-1 of the French consumer code).

A declined payment suspends the paid features, not the account: your file, your history and your exports stay reachable.

07 Cancelling, in two clicks

The sales page says "cancel in 2 clicks". Here are the two: in your account, Subscription → Cancel, then confirm. That is it. No form to justify, no registered letter, no phone call, no retention offer to decline three times.

You can cancel at any time, without notice and without giving a reason. Cancelling stops the renewal: you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account drops back to the free tier.

If that screen is unreachable for any reason, an email to [email protected] counts as cancellation, effective on the date it arrives. A cancellation must never depend on a button working.

△ This follows article L215-1-1 of the French consumer code, which requires that whatever was subscribed to online can be cancelled online, just as easily.

08 Withdrawal and refunds

You have fourteen days from your first payment to change your mind, with no reason required. An email to [email protected] is enough: the subscription stops and is refunded in full, within fourteen days, to the original payment method.

We do not invoke the exception that would let us refuse that refund on the grounds that the service had already started: the free trial exists precisely so that nobody has to pay to find out. This applies to the monthly plan and the yearly one alike.

After those fourteen days you can still cancel at any time, but the current period, already paid for, is not refunded pro rata: it simply runs to its end.

If the service is unavailable through our fault for a meaningful stretch of time, the affected period is either extended or refunded, your choice. You will not have to ask three times.

09 Personal and fair use

Subscriptions cover personal use. The actions that cost real computation — writing a plan, rewriting it, talking to the coach, analysing sessions — are counted over a rolling thirty-day window, and your counter is visible in the app.

Those ceilings are sized so that an athlete who trains never meets them. They exist against automated use, resale of access and account sharing, not against you. If they get in the way of normal use, write in: the sizing is the problem, not your account.

What is not allowed: bulk-extracting the content or the coach's answers, working around technical limits, reselling access, or using the service to train a competing product. Established abuse can lead to suspension, after warning except in urgent cases, with a pro-rata refund of the unused period.

10 What the service promises, and what it does not

What is promised: a plan written on your actual situation, numbers computed by a deterministic engine and never invented, decisions that are explained, and your data exportable at any time.

What is not promised: a sporting result. No coach, human or software, can guarantee an FTP, a finishing time or a place. Progress depends on what you do, what you recover from, and on factors nobody controls.

The service is not a medical device and replaces neither a doctor nor a physiotherapist. The health data you enter is used to adapt training, not to diagnose. If you have pain, a condition or a doubt: get it looked at, then tell the coach.

The service is run with the means of an independent operator. We aim for continuous availability without guaranteeing it: maintenance windows, server failures, a third-party provider going down. Statutory warranties of conformity and against hidden defects apply regardless.

11 What happens to your account and data when you leave

Cancelling a subscription does not delete your account. It drops to the free tier: you keep your file, your history and the calculators within their free limits. Coming back after a break does not start from zero.

Before you go, you can take everything with you: a one-click JSON export of your full file, and session exports in .zwo, .fit and .mrc for your devices. That is the sovereignty principle stated on the sales page: if you leave, you leave with everything.

If you want the account and its data permanently deleted, ask at [email protected]. The exact timelines, backups included, are in the privacy policy.

12 Changes to these terms and to prices

These terms may change. Any substantial change is announced by email at least thirty days before it takes effect. If it does not suit you, you cancel before then: that is the only honest remedy, and it is guaranteed to you.

Prices may change, never retroactively: a new price only applies to periods that follow the announcement. The Season carries a locked price for as long as the subscription stays active, exactly as the sales page states — cancelling does lose that lock.

13 Governing law, complaints and mediation

These terms are governed by French law.

If something goes wrong, write to [email protected] first: the vast majority of disputes get settled there, and faster.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer ombudsman the publisher is registered with, within one year of your written complaint: [À COMPLÉTER — nom et site du médiateur de la consommation].

The European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Failing agreement, the French courts have jurisdiction, without prejudice to the consumer protection rules that let you bring proceedings where you live.
