The triathlon composer

Five legs, one fatigue. The composer chains your day in physiological order: CSS pace in the water, a bike capped at the format's IF — because the extra watts are paid back on the run — and a run pace degraded by the very bike you just planned. With the carb budget for the entire day.

The seams that make the plan

Bike IF is THE decision

0.70 on a full, 0.78 on a half: these are not caution, they are the conditions for running afterwards. The battle plan engine inverts the calculation — intensity is the order, the watts follow.

Post-bike degradation

Your fresh pace does not come out of T2. The triathlon literature measures 5 to 15% degradation depending on bike intensity: the composer applies it automatically, and tells you how much.

One stomach

Nothing in the water, the load on the bike — the gut tolerates more there — and maintenance on the run. The day's budget is priced leg by leg, not by feel.
